H Applicants should have a tradesman background in steam turbines and 9 boiler plant and be experienced in control room procedures and H electrical reticulation. Preference will be given to applicants in K possession of an Australian Ist or 2nd Class Steam Certificate of H Competency or the equivalent. M SALARY: Commencing salary up to $A7,946 per annum, depending on 9 qualifications and experience (tax free on Nauru), plus island allowance of H SA9OO p.a. for married and SASOO p.a. for single, also a child allowance H of SA6O p.a. for each child under 18 years of age. Paid overtime' H available. —■■ ■ I Technician I THE POSITION: The applicant will be responsible to the L’ectrical 9 Engineer for the installation, repair and maintenance of industrial H electronic equipment, instrumentation/control systems and 9 radio/communication equipment, and some computer maintenance. H The equivalent covers a wide range including the following: Electrostatic Precipitators. Alternator Regulators, Meta! Detectors. Auto 9 Conveyor Weighers, Boiler Ignition Systems. Feedwater Controllers, H • Hospital/Laboratory Equipment, Radio Telephones, Repeater 9 Cinema and P.A. Systems. M We require an experienced technician with the ability to work with 9 minimum supervision. H QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant should hold an appropriate electronic 9 trade qualification and have sound experience in industrial electronics. H Computer experience an advantage. H SALARY: Commencing salary up to 5A9.650 p.a. depending on 9 qualifications and experience (tax free on Nauru), plus island allowance of ■ 3A900 p.a. for married and SASOO for single, also a child allowance of 9 SA6O p.a. for each child under 18 years of age. Paid overtime available, H CONDITIONS: Employment is on a permanent basis after satisfactory 9 completion of the first 22 months service.
