Wind affects flights
PA Wellington An - Air New Zealand DCB flight from Sydney was diverted to Auckland yesterday when strong winds in Wellington prevented it from landing.
Wind gusts up to 57 knots closed Wellington Airport to all Friendship flights yesterday afternoon, but Boeings had been flying, an airport spokesman said last evening.
A decision on whether to bring the DCB back from Auckland had not been made.
