Accident victim dies
A girl died in Christchurch Hospital yesterday from injuries suffered in a horse-riding accident on Saturday. She was: Sor.ia Ann Early, aged 17, of Greendale. According to the Darfield police, the horse she was riding lost its footing
on a corner of the road. The girl fell, hit her head on the road, and the horse fell on top of her. The accident happened at 9.15 a.m. She suffered internal and head injuries and did not regain consciousness. She died at 4.-0 p.m. yesterday.
