Inflation
New Zealand has slipped one place, to 18th, in the inflation ranking of the 21 O.E.C.D. countries. According to an 0.E.C.D.. report out inflation rate rose from 13.$ per cent in 1979 to 17.1 pei cent in 1980. Only six countries — Iceland. Turkey Greece, Italy, Ireland, and the United Kingdom — had a higher rate. The average foi the 24 member states foi 1980 was 12.9 per cent, com pared with 9.8 per cent it 1979.
