Riots in Britain
Sir, — I must take issue with the statement in your editorial article (April 15) in which you said that “the vast majority in Britain accept that repatriation is not the solution to the problem.” I query your source of this information as, from correspondence with friends and relations in the United Kingdom, from conversations with people who have recently visited there, and also from my own conclusion gleaned while there for a three-month period some seven years ago, there appears to. be an A overwhelming feeling among Englishmen that the country has been ruined by the influx of people whose exodus back to their own countries would be more than welcomed. — Yours, etc., * ’N. R. DIXON. April 16,. 1981/ .
