Man for trial

PA Kaikohe A man who appeared in the District Court at Kaikohe on Wednesday charged with murder has been cominitted to the High Court for trial on May 4. ' ’ Raymond John Farrelly, aged 32, a forestry worker living at the Puke’ti Forest headquarters, appeared at a depositions hearing charged with the murder of James Francis Marsh at Puketi on January 23. He pleaded not guilty. The Court heard that .Marsh, shortly before he was shot, had punched a companion three or four times and chased him up a forest track.
