A horticultural unit and 70-year-old square weatherboard: house at 15 Vagues Road, Papanui* was passed in at auction on Wednesday at $48,000. The Government Valuation of the 5029 sq m property, is $37,000. The land is zoned residential and can be subdivided into six lots, the house and 748 sq m section making a seventh. The house has four bedrooms and two living rooms. The auction was conducted by Mr P. J. Cook of W. E. Simes, for the trustees of the estate of Mr A. P. H. Roscoe. Negotiations for a private sale continued after the auction. On Tuesday, No. 60 Greers Road, Ham, sold at auction for $Bl,OOO. The property’s Government Valuation (1980) is $57,000. The 26-year-old bungalow, which is made of poured concrete, has two double and two single bedrooms, and is in need of extensive redecoration. It sits on a 1442 sq m section.
