The jury of six men and six women took almost nine hours to ;reach the verdict. Mr Jlustice Ongley discharged Plunkett at 9.45 p.m. After a few • moments alone with her mother, she reappeared in the court foyer to the kisses, hugs and tears of ecstatic supporters.
