Dryden Amanda top chance at Forbury

By

G. K. YULE

A solid finish for fourth behind Angelo Dundee at the end of a solidly-run 2600 m at Addington Raceway last week points to Dryden Amanda winning the Otago Rowing Club Flying Mobile Mile at Forbury Park on Saturday. Dryden Amanda has shown great ability and on January 1 she finished a close

fourth to Royal Illusion in the Standardbred Breeders’ Stakes at Addington. Since then she has had two wins and a fourth from nine starts, most of her racing being in much stronger fields than that she will encounter at Dunedin. The southern four-year-old, Zabadak, has won four races this season and he has also been placed in one of his

other seven starts. He should be suited by the mobile start and could run Dryden Amanda close. Seafield Rose and Kingsdown Cavalier should do best of the others, although Daylight Express will have to be considered. Remote, Able Cold and Timely Frost could be as good as any in a mixed bag engaged in the Reliance Pace.
