Organist praised
Sir,—l would like to record ny appreciation of Mr Graham Hollobon’s organ playing for the Janacek Mass in the Town Hall on Saturday night. Since he was listed as a soloist, yet was compelled to remain invisible during his, performance, it seemed ungracious that he was not brought on stage at the end to' receive acknowledgement and applause for his fine contribution. We. are fortunate in having organists of Mr Hollobon’s calibre-to assist with the presentation of such an exciting and difficult-Work.—Yours, e WYNNE GLASSEYJ • F April 12, 1981. /.
