H At Manfeild 26th-27th March, the Suzuki SSBOF smashed the N.Z. 24-hour small car Enduro M record. By racing 737 faps at an average 93 km/h, the SSBOF travelled a total of 2233.11 W- kilometres (old record 2181.60 km). Weather conditions were mixed and Included six hours’ rain. H At the same time, two similar off-the-assembly-line stock models, also without special tuning, — V ; - were undertaking a 246 km round-trip circuit between Manfeild and Waipukurau — including 1 W Manawatu Gorge and various road works encountered.
