F.T.C. firms
The New Zealand sharemarket maintained its rally in active trading vesterdav. and the N.Z.U.C. index rose a further 9.70 points to 634.56. Vacation continued to be actively traded although the mystery buyer has now withdrawn from the market, and the best gain of the day was from F.T.C. after the report that tax-free dividends would be available from the company for the next four years. Fletcher Challenge rose 3c ex dividend to 270 c. N.Z. Forest Products regained the 400 c mark, and New Zealand South British firmed 3c to 101 c in busy trading. Lane Walker Rudkin and Winstone went against the firm trend.
