Man’s body found in river
The body of a man' was recovered from the Waiau River near Culverden late last evening.
The police said that the man had apparently climbed down the river bank to fetch Water for his car, and had fallen into a deep, swift stretch of water.
A search party found the body about . 9.20 p.m. at Mouse Point, near State highway 7. on the south bank of the Waiau River, about eight kilometres south-west of Rotherham. . / The name of the dead man had not been released early
