P.D.L. Sales div. expands

P.D.L. Sales has announced several new staff appointments aimed at providing further support to the trade for the company's rapidly expanding activities in the heating and other electrical goods markets. Mr Gil Day, is retiring as general manager of P.D.L. Sales, after joining the company 15 years ago. He is well-known throughout the trade, having spent a total of 45 years in the electrical industry. Mr Murray Reid has been appointed assistant general manager and will take over from Mr Day on his retirement. He joined P.D.L. Sales 12 years ago and for the last seven of these has been New Zealand sales manager. Mr Grant Ward, who has' been promoted to marketing manager, joined P.D.L. Sales in the early 70s and was previously P.D.L. Sales’ Christchurch branch manager. He has 12 years experience in the electrical industry.

Mr Steven Ross has been promoted to sales manager. Steven joined the P.D.L. Sales team 10 years ago and for the last three years has been branch manager at Tauranga. Steven has spent his working life in the wholesale electrical field.

Mr Nigel Image has been appointed Christchurch branch manager, taking over from Mr Ward. He was previously a Christchurch sales representative.
