New Q.C.s announced

PA Wellington The Solicitor-General (Mr D. P. Neazor) is one of six new Queen’s Counsel whose appointments have been announced by the AttorneyGeneral, Mr McLay. The others are Messrs A. Hearn, of Christchurch, R. A. Houston, of Hamilton, R. J. Craddock and E. W. Thomas, of Auckland, and A. A. T. Ellis, of Wellington. Mr McLay said that the appointments were the first to be made under a new procedure announced last November. Until now, individual appointments had been considered as and when applications had been received but all appointment’s to be made in any year would now be made at the same time.
