Detectives are invest gating the possibility 'that a white Skoda was u-cd as a get-away vehicle a L ’.er the armed hold-up of thf St Albans branch office of the Totalisator Armey Beard nine days ago.
The police .were checking every white Skoda in Canterbury- as part of the investigation, said Detective Senior-Sergeant A. G. I. Rodgers yesterday. A white Skoda, its li-
cerice plates covered with fabric, was seen leaving the .Edgeware, Village shopping centre soon after the; robbery. It is believed to be . a model- between 1971 and 1979. The search is also continuing for a woman , with bleached blond hair who is believed to have acted as a look-out during the robbery. A large sum of money was -stolen from the agency.
