Firestone worker reinstated
The Firestone Tire and Rubber Company has reinstated the rubber worker at the centre of a dispute early this month after h . was dismissed for being found asleep on night shift.
The man was told of the company’s decision yesterday and will resume work next Monday. The company has adopted the recommendation of a mediator. Mr M. Teen, who found that the company ,was justified in dismissing the man but recommended that he be reinstated.
