Auckland Prince Majestic gave further evidence of his coming to peak form again when lie went so well witli Bra Hest on the plough at Takanini on Tuesday.

Within only a few davs of being taken to Sydney. Prince Majestic ran 1490 m with Bra Hest in Imin 3Os. Taken all round it was his most impressive work since he came back from a summer spell.

Ridden by David Peake. Prince Majestic gave a fair amount of weight to Bra Hest which had (he young visiting anprentice. Peter Fearon, tin. and it was only right near the end of the gallop that he exerted himself.

Prince Majestic then went ahead, running the last 1000 m in Imin 3s and the last 600 m in 38s. Prince Majestic and his two stablemates, Assessed and Islero, will be accompanied on their trip to Sydney tomorrow by Lorna Jenkins, one of trainer Ray Verner’s staff, who took Good Lord to Australia for his successful Sydney Cup campaign. Verner will go just beforehand and Peake is to make the trip early next week.

Assessed (Cpoksley) and Islero (Peake) showed that they were doing well when thev. too. ran 1400 m in Imin 30s. Keeping together they covered the last 1000 m in Imin 2.8 s and the last 600 m in 38.85.
