Victoria University sociologist, David Pearson, has published a study "Johnsonville: Continuity, and Change in a New Zealand Township.” For Radio New Zealand Jack Shallcrass talks to him about the study, and the first of two interviews tonight is titled, "Status, Life, Chances and Power.” Concert, 9 p.m. today/ ' . . Sibelius The new recording of the Sibelius Violin Concerto in D minor on the Concert Programme tonight at 9.33 has Boris Belkin as soloist with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy. The other new record is Leonard Bernstein's 1954 composition. Serenade. The composer conducts the Israel Philharmonic with violin soloist Gidon Kremer. Asthma There is a well recognised link between asthma and house-dust allergy. It has been further shown that a major allergy in house dust is related to "the presence of a certain genus of mite. Recently a team of London immunologists have been looking more closely at the mite as an allergen source and one of them discusses their findings on the 8.8. C. science programme on Con-

National, 8 p.m. Mobil awards Tonight the Mobil radio award winning entries will, be announced at a function at the Wellington Overseas Passenger Terminal. Haydn Sherley will introduce "an edited version of the announcements with some background about the programmes involved. National, 8.45 p.m.
