Plumbers’ head

A Christchurch man, Mr L. J. Russell, has been elected president of the Society of Mastpr Plumbers and Gasfitters. Mr Russell has his own plumbing and gasfitting contracling business and has been active for many years in the society’s business. He has been editor of the ‘‘Plumbers' Journal" and a member of the society’s executive council. Mr Russell is a vice-presi-dent of the Canterbury Rugby Union and was a member of committees organising the 1974 Commonwealth Games and the Mew Zealand Games.
