Director resigns
PA. Wellington Mr M. Hinchliff has resigned from the board of directors of Crown Consolidated, Ltd, because of a possible conflict of interest. Mr Hinchliff, who joined the board in 1978, has recently been appointed chairman of the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board, and as Crown had recently acquired of all the share capital in the Canterbury Farmers Co-operative Ltd, of Timaru, which has substantial fishing interests, he felt there would be a conflict of •interest. An announcement will be made soon with regard to a replacement, said the chairman of Crown (Mr R. B. Weir).
