Banks dispute
Sir, — Immediately after the results of the 1975 election became known, the then president of the F.O.L. promised rolling strikes, justified or not, so long as this Government remained in office. That promise is one which has been kept. Is there one person involved in the present bank controversy who will tell us, the general public, to what “skills” they refer, also how, when, and from what source those “skills” were acquired? To strike for an across the board payment in this case cannot possibly be justifiedMany honest bank employees know this. — Yours, etc. A. BROMLEY. February 21, 1981.
