Wool price back slightly
The average price for wool sold at last month’s Christchurch wool sale on, January 21 and 23 was 251.96 c per kg; This was down by 3.07 c or just over I per cent on the December sale and by 8.46 c or just over 3 per cent on’ last January’s sale. Last month 38,418 bales were iso 1 d f-o r $14,481,831.84. The average price per bale was $376.98. The details of the sale were supplied by the Christchurch Woolbrokers’ Association.
