Aerobatics winner
Hours of practice above his farm paid off for an Ashburton farmer, Mr Ron McDougall, at the week-end. Mr McDougall, of Lismore, won tl.e finals of the New Zealand aerobatics competition at Paraparaumu held by the Royal New Zealand Aero Club. He flew a
Cessna . 150 Aerobat. which he has owned for about five years. Mr McDougall won the intermediate class in the Cory Wright aerobatics competition at the regional finals at Blenheim last November to qualify for the national finals.
