Youth killed
A Nelson youth was fatally injured on Saturday when the motor-cycle he was riding struck a parked car in Leicester Street, Stoke, near Nelson. He was John William McLeod, of Nayland Street, Stoke.
He died in Nelson Hospital soon after the accident.
His death brings the number of fatalities in the Nelson traffic district in the last six weeks to seven, including three motor-cyclists, all aged under 20. j
