Fewer building permits issued

The number of building 'permits issued for flats and j houses dropped by 18.1 per ■cent, in November, 1980. : compared with the number , issued in November. 1979. -according to the Government Statistician (Dr J. R. Darwin). The 1980 figures are provisional. | Basing his assessment on early returns from local |jauthorities and allowing for Government work.
