Millen did only three laps in the second session after setting his 57.9 .seconds time during the first session. “Some people think I am cocky for not going out in the afternoon,” said Millen afterwards. “But the track is always slower in the afternoon so if you don’t think you can go any faster there is no sense in going out and wearing your car out.” '
Millen was a little surprised at his . time ’ — the he set for. pole position at last February’s Aurora series meeting — because ...since then the regulations regarding the wings on the cars have been changed in an effort to slow them down.
