Brazil in soccer final
NZPA-Reuter . Monterideo Brazil defeated the European champion West Germany, 4-1, yesterday to qualify for the final fof the Gold Cup soccer tournament. Brazil needed to win the match by better than 2-1 to eliminate the World Cup holder, Argentina, and win the right to play the host
nation, Uruguay, in tomorrow’s final of the six-nation competition. The Brazilians trailed after a fifty-fourth-minu(e goal by Klaus Allofs but produced a sterling recovery to score through Junior (fifty-eighth minute), Toninho Cerezo (sixty-first), Serginho (sev-enty-sixth) and Ze Sergio (eighty-third).
