GOOD FISHING
Most North Canterbury rivers should be good for fishing this week-end. The North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society has reported that the . Hurunui River, the Ashley River, the Selwyn River, and the Rakaia mouth and gorge are all clear and fishable. The Waimakariri, at its mouth and gorge, is 'discoloured but fishable. The Waiau River is discoloured and unfishable.
