Games surprise
The entry of four West Germans for the- New Zealand Games swimming and diving next month was a pleasant surprise for the Games-organisers yesterday. Any hope of a West Ger? man team attending had been’ virtually abandoned. They had /indicated, that examinations would /prevent a team coming to New Zealand, except perhaps for;a male diver. Her best time of Imin 4.42 s ranks her twenty-first equal.
