i Public Notices | AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL CLOSURE OF STREETS TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of Kart racing under the auspices of the Christchurch Kart Club in conjunction with the Amurl Lions Club, the following streets will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder. During the periods of clotsure the following provision : will be made for ordinary vei hicular traffic which would i otherwise use the streets. I STREETS TO BE CLOSED TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR : TRAFFIC: Montrose Street between Leslie Street and I Hawkeswood Street; HawkI eswood Street between Montrose Street and Lyndon Street; Lyndon Street between Cheviot Street and Hawkeswood Street; Leslie Street between Lyndon Street and Montrose Street; Lowry Street between Cheviot Street and Hawkeswood Street; Achray Street. PERIODS OF CLOSURE: 1030 a.m.-12. noon; 1.00 p.m.3.00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 1981.' ALTERNATIVE PROVISION FOR ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC: In.’tile case of an emergency requiring use of the closed portions of the streets the Karts will be held back to enable persons to use toe streets. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person' otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the streets for ordinary vehicular traffic during the periods of closure.
