Port men back
PA Auckland .Work at Auckland’s port was back to normal yesterday as Harbour Board Employees’ Union members resumed work after taking the week-end off. The stoppage came after the men had heard a report from their president, Mr S. K. Shanks, on the progress of their wage talks. A national strike is still likely to start on December 3. the day after’ the 14-day notice of a strike expires.
