Mt R. C. R. (Tim) Morton, chief handicapper and. Keeper of the Stud Book, has resigned from the staff of the Trotting Conference. His res-, ignation will take effect from April next. Mr Morton was first appointed a deputy stipendiary’ steward and North Island handicapper in 1954yvhen he lived in Otaki. He came to. Christchurch as chief handicapper in 1957 and five years later took oyer the j added duties of Keeper of 'the Stud Book.
