Fatal blast in Kwanju
NZPA-Reuter Seoul One woman was killed and 21 people injured, 11 seriously, after an explosion in a basement music hall in the southern city of Kwangju on • Thursday night, the police said yesterday. The police were still investigating the incident and had not ruled out the possibility of a bomb having been planted or thrown by someone.
The explosion left a crater about 20cm wide and 10cm deep in the floor of the hall. Windows were smashed and the ceiling of the room caved in, the police said.
