The Board has a vacancy for a person with a background in food processing. The main duties of the successful applicant will be to assist in providing advisory services for fish processors on all aspects of hygiene and quality and to liaise with industry and Government departments on reflated matters. The position would best suit a person with experience'in processing or quality control, preferably in the fishing industry. A qualification in food technology or their related discipline would be an advantage. The position is based in Wellington, but some travel within New Zealand will be required.
