_ LINWOOD HOW TO ENTER In each Wednesday's edition of the Chch Press a race meeting for the following Saturday will be nominated. Those entering are invited to select a horse in the last eight races of the meeting. Points will be allocated, Ist—s points; 2nd—3 points; 3rd—l point. The successful entrant/s shall win or share the prize money. Also a Jackpot shall run and shall be won or shared by the entrant/s who select oil eight, winners, this pot shall'increase in relation to the number of entries received till struck or is terminated. If the Jackpot is not struck it shall continue until a figure of $5OOO is reached. Once the figure of $5OOO is reached the Jackpot shall then terminate by all Jockpot monies being paid to the entrant/s who gain the most points that week. Entry fee is 50c per selection or $l.OO for three selections. Entries can be left at Fowkes Tobacconist, Manchester Street and David Fowke (Finneys), Cathedral Square. - ALL ENTRIES TO BE ENCLOSED IN AN ADDRESSED ENVELOPE - RULES: 1.
