The worried looks and concerned expressions from the Mount Pleasant skip, Roy Bailey, were justified during his final game against Men- Robinson (Barrington) in the Lion champions bowls tournament at the Papanui club last week-end. Bailey won his first five matches and victory against Robinson would have qualified him for a play-off against the eventual winner, Tom Dixon (South Brighton). However, Bailey lost to Rob inson and had to accept third placing. Pictures by CATHERINE HARRISON.
