Country and Western stars mingle and clash as they became involved in a political tragedy during several days in ‘•’Nashville,” the Thursday Premiere movie on Network One tomorrow.
Nashville has long been known as the capital of country music in the States, where the country and western industry is really big business. The theme song of the firn, “I’m Easy,” won the 1975 Academy Award for the Best Song. The film originally 14 hours, has been Railed by some as the mastc.- work of the director, Robert .. Altman. Other critics found it bitty and confusing. “Nashville”, stars Henry Gibson, Lily Tomlin, Ronee Blakely, Keith Carradine, Geraldine Chaplin, Shelley Duvall, Ned Beatty, and Karen Black.
