Plunge from car-park
A man who plunged more than 15 metres from the Christchurch City Council’s Lichfield Street car-park yesterday was critically ill in the intensive-care unit at Christchurch Hospital late last evening. He is Alistair Allan Muir, believed to be in his late 20s, of Christchurch. Mr Muir suffered severe multiple injuries when; he fell from an upper level of the car-park about 10.30 a.m. He landed on the footpath outside the entrance to the car-park. ; Mrr-Muir was given emergency medical treatment at the .scene, and taken to Christchurch Hospital by St John ambulance. There were no suspicious circumstances, the police said. i-
