Non-voters warned
PA Wellington Australians living in New Zealand will be liable to $lO fines if they did not vote in Saturday’s Federal elections, according to an Australian High Commission official yesterday. “It would be compulsory for them to vote if they were still eligible,” said a first secretary, Mr A. Miller. A total of 1085 people voted l through the Australian High Commission in Wellington and the ConsulateGeneral in Auckland, he said.
