ANY PERSON who is a Pole, or of Polish descent resident in New Zealand (other than diplomatic representatives) is entitled to vote at the meeting in person or by proxy. This meeting is being convened pursuant to a direction made by the Right Honourable the Chief Justice on the 7th day of October, 1980, for the purpose of obtaining from the meeting a recommendation as to five persons to be appointed as trustees of the Fund. THE purposes of the Polish Charity Fund are to assist or subsidise any movement, organisation or enterprise in:— 1. The relief of poverty giving priority to Poles or people of Polish descent in New Zealand. 2. In the care of the aged.and the sick and giving priority tp Poles and people of Polish descent in New Zealand. 3. The advancement of - education in general and in particular the promotion of the study of th Polish language culture, literature and history. 4. The teachng of the Catholic Religion and in particular to Polish children. NOMINATIONS of persons willing to act as Trustees of the Fund (forms of which may be outlined from the Solicitors mentioned below) shall be in writing and signed by the proposer, seconder and the candidate and shall be left at or posted to the offices of Messrs C.
