Big gold strike

NZPA Perth Another startling gold find has been reported in the Leonora region of Western Australia. Mr Peter Muir and his wife Dolly using a meta! detector, have found more than 180 ounces of gold nuggets just south of

Agnew, 130 km north of Leonora. The largest nugget was 118 ounces. The couple made the finds three weeks ago but kept quiet until yesterday. In that rime they have pegged 18 gold mining leases around the area and are investigating mining it commercially.
