Shooting symposium

An international shooting sports symposium will he held in Wellington over Labour week-end (October 25-26) and is expected to attract about 200 enthusiasts. It is the final event of the special programme organised this year by the Mountain Firearms Safety Committee. The American film stars, Robert Stack and Slim Pickens, had been intending to come, but the strike, by actors in the United States has prevented this. However, a wide range of topics will be covered by overseas and local guest speakers during fh« two days. . '
