‘Blue Chip’ guide
Last year, Australian travel interests produced a special holiday guide introducing the attractions of the “Blue Chip" states — Victoria, South Australia. and Tasmania. This caused so much interest that the booklet 'has now been rewritten and updated. The Blue Chip States (the catchphrase refers to their, quality as holiday
destinations) are already visited by many thousands of New Zealanders attracted by features such as the cosmopolitan atmosphere and shopping opportunities of Melbourne, the delights of South Australia’s wine districts and cruising the Murray River, casino gambling, “living history” and the grandeur of scenic, wilder-, ness in Tasmania.
