Twice a year, members of the executive of the New Zealand Spinning, Weaving, and Woolcrafts Society meet at the Wool Board office in Wellington to cast a critical eye over work sent in for assessment by the society’s members. The society has its own “quality mark,” which is awarded for work that meets a prescribed standard.
