Stevens tour

Christchurch, ’ Nelson, Blenheim, Ashburton, and Timaru are all included in the tour itinerary of Jon Stevens and his backing band, The Rivals. Unlike the concert tour with Sharon O’Neill earlier this year, the Stevens tour is definitely a “pub crawl,” started off at the Centennnial Hall at Blenheim yesterday, and finishing at the Westown Motor Hotel, New Plymouth, on November 1. The tour will take in 35

shows, and go as far south as Queenstown and as far north as Kaitaia. Stevens will be featured at the Terminus Hotel, Timaru, this evening, and other dates include the Hotel Ashburton, Ashburton, on October 2, the Hillsborough Tavern, Christchurch, on October 3 and 4, and the Rutherford Hotel, Nelson, on October 6. Jon Stevens’s single, “Working Class Game,” has also been released.
