Woman may have been abducted
PA Wellington . Mrs Marion Granville’s mysterious disappearance from a Wellington suburb three weeks ago is still the subject of a big police inquiry. Three detectives have been dropped from the investigation, but 15 men are still working on the case. Detective Inspector C. Wilson said the police' had not uncovered any important new leads since the investigation started. Mrs Granville, aged 29, was still a missing person, though abduction and murder were considered possibilities. Mrs Granville was last seen on Saturday, August 30, meeting three men outside a dairy in Naenae. That was two days before she was due to appear in court on charges of possessing cannabis for supply. The police have discounted suicide.
