Attack on pool record
Two Tauranga men aiming at the world pool playing record last evening had 167 games under their belts—36 hours after starting play. Allan Davey, aged 40, and Dave Harman, aged 34, are trying to break the 125-hour record to raise funds for the Bay of Plenty branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Association. Since the pair began at 10 a.m. on Sunday local people have pledged more than $2OOO.
