Launderers’ convention
Overseas speakers will attend the annual convention of New Zealand launderers, dry cleaners, and linen rental suppliers, which will begin in Christchurch on September 26.
About 120 people are expected to attend the event, which will last for four days, and has been titled a “crusade for trade.”
• Panel discussions and workshops are included on the programme. The. convention will be officially opened by the Mayor of Riccarton (Mr R. W. J. Harrington).
