Tough game for Waikato
PA Hamilton The Ranfurly Shield holder, Waikato, was hard pressed to beat' King Country, 16-10, in a non-Shield rugby match at Te Kuiti on Saturday, Through its wins Waikato retained the top position in the North Island second-division competition, the result of which will depend on next Saturday’s match against Taranaki. That will be for the I Shield.
